Quantifying your climate-related risks

RSK is proud to share this webinar providing practical insights for organisations quantifying their climate-related risks and opportunities for the first time and what this means in practice for disclosure.
Although climate-related financial disclosures have been in the market for several years, determining financial impacts of material climate-related risks is still an emerging topic. With mandatory disclosures to the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS S2 standard being implemented globally, the requirement to provide quantitative assessments is reaching critical mass.
With no established methodologies for calculating financial impacts of climate risks, market participants are looking for guidance on how to begin this journey. In this webinar, experts from across RSK share their practical insights and knowledge from having quantified climate risks for their clients. The session will include:
- a recap of S2 requirements for financial quantification
- a worked climate risk quantification example
- considerations on data sources and technology partners
- guidance on how this is reflected in your financial statements
- how your quantification will be communicated both internally and externally
- navigating mandatory assurance for your quantification work.
There will be a short question and answer session afterwards, but please provide any questions in advance to rskevents@rsk.co.uk.
As a global company, RSK is proud to make this webinar available across time zones and languages, reflecting the shared need for a worldwide response to climate risk.
