Mary-Ann Smyth

Mary-Ann is a non-executive director, sitting on the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

An environmental scientist based in Scotland, she has a background in environmental and socio-economics consulting, which more recently developed into government research on environmental carbon and carbon pricing.  Her carbon metrics are now used to populate the UK greenhouse gas accounts and inform policy.

She brings to RSK a focus on long term sustainability and the carbon economy.  She is also chair of the Crichton Carbon Centre, and a trustee of the regional Landscape Partnership.
