RSK LDE’s services, alongside integrated brand Acies and RoC Consulting, include civil and structural engineering and pre- and post-planning support, such as flood risk assessment, hydrology reporting for drainage and flood management, drainage strategy, sustainable drainage system solutions, road alignment, vehicle tracking, foundation appraisals and design, superstructure designs and earthworks. It can provide instructive and precise consultancy to landowners, investors, developers and other stakeholders.

Civil engineering services provide innovative solutions to remedy sites for both physical and naturally built environments and include pre-acquisition appraisals, planning support, highway design, technical advice and environmental permitting, earthworks and sustainable drainage systems.

Hydrology services include advising on planning applications for flood zones required for sites as defined by the Environment Agency and working with the relevant statutory bodies to provide sustainable solutions that lessen environmental impacts. Work undertaken can include all aspects of flood risk, including basic flood risk assessments, watercourse modelling, flood map challenges, flood evacuation plans and environmental statement chapters.

Structural engineering services, focused on minimising environmental impact, include building foundation design, basement structural design, retaining wall design, highway structures approval in principle, structural design of buildings, structural detailing, building regulations technical approval and building information modelling (BIM) collaborative working using shared 3D models.
