RemedX offers a range of solutions that focus on technical soil and groundwater remediation. It works on national and international projects, from supplying process-based remediation systems to large-scale, multidisciplinary, fixed-price, risk-quantified contaminated land civil engineering schemes.

Its contracting services encompass all aspects of contaminated land remediation, and the business has broad capability in delivering specialist enabling works packages. These may include soil remediation services with civil engineering and earthworks management, which focuses on efficient material management and treatment and maximising reuse, using technologies such as bioremediation, soil washing, solidification and stabilisation, soil mixing and excavation and disposal.

RemedX uses its in-house remediation system design and construction team and process-based remediation technologies to provide groundwater remediation services. It has the capabilities to service groundwater treatment projects from domestic-scale to large industrial-scale, multi-technology, process-based systems.

RemedX assists with specialist enabling work and can act as principal contractor and/or principal designer, dealing with programme management, cost reduction and risk mitigation.

Remediation equipment hire is available with sister company GRS, and it can also design and build specialist plant to suit specific site problems. Other remediation services are available via a network of group companies to assist with geotechnical, ecological and habitat management when required.

RemedX can provide consultancy services, including design assistance. It can prepare pre-work remediation strategies, including negotiating with and obtaining approval from regulatory authorities and project stakeholders to ensure timely approval of work, as well as remediation options appraisals to ensure selection of the most technically robust, cost-effective and sustainable solution for client sites.

Contract management is provided by teams that are familiar with the operation and execution of all common forms of construction and engineering work contracts, particularly NEC and JCT. RemedX operates an integrated management system and is certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.

Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) and Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) supervision and inspection services are offered with qualified waste management personnel who can undertake mobile plant licence monitoring inspections for Environment Agency compliance and secondment roles or watching briefs for client projects to ensure hazardous waste handling complies with permitting requirements.
