Projence
Projence, formed in 2011 and based in New South Wales, Australia, is an integrated project management and commercial services business, delivering to leading companies across a range of industries, including energy, mining, ports, rail, road and water. It specialises in representing owners in the development and delivery of projects and in the set-up and optimisation of maintenance systems.
A key offering is project management services, including advice on, and delivery of, all elements across each of the four phases of project management: project initiation, project development and planning, project execution and project closeout. Project initiation includes options assessments, desktop analysis, costβbenefit analysis, budgets and business plan, internal and external stakeholder identification, delivery and procurement strategy and funding approvals.
Project development involves feasibility assessments, contract selection and tender package development, management of planning approvals, land access licensing and interface agreements. Project execution can include services such as contract administration, site surveillance, construction management, commissioning and planning and claims management and litigation support. Services relating to project closeout include commercial closeout and capitalisation readiness, management of training and asset familiarisation, defects liability management and asset management and cataloguing.
Project development and advisory services are offered to look beyond the obvious and challenge assumptions to design fit-for-purpose project solutions. With experience in local, state and federal government approval processes, Projence can deliver agreements and tender packages to set projects up for success. This can involve management of government planning approvals and documents, land access licensing, scoping definition, design development, network access agreements and interface agreements.
The Projence team has experience in project controls to determine risks and develop the right processes and monitoring to keep projects on track, productive and profitable. This can include quality, cost and time project controls.
Projence has a diverse client base, including the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (NCIG), Peabody Energy and the Department of Planning and Environment.
