Non Entry Systems Ltd
Non Entry Systems Ltd (NESL) was formed in 1995 and is based in Swansea, Wales. The company specialises in remote systems for use in hazardous environments and provides its services internationally. The company is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology for the design, manufacture and supply of automated equipment for the cleaning of bulk storage tanks and lagoons, sludge resuspension and treatment, product movement and materials handling.
Some key tank cleaning and sludge handling products provided by NESL include a bespoke sit and ride dozer (NESL Mover), a fast way to clean large diameter crude tanks with limited entry.
Zero-man entry for tank cleaning is rapidly becoming standard practice in all European countries, as well as elsewhere in the world. The NESL-designed Manway Cannon and the NES ROV are zero-man entry equipment for tank cleaning and de-sludging operations. These devices come with either a control room that is fully lined and insulated with a combined heating/air conditioning unit or ramps for remotely moving them into tanks. The MOVCAN ROV tracked cannon can be used as an add-on to the Manway Cannon system or as a stand-alone system.
The NESL Weir Tank System uses recirculation to reduce the waste produced during any tank cleaning operation. The NESL Weir Tank System works solely with the NESL Cannon system and is designed for the cleaning of large diameter storage tanks.
The NESL Tanksweep system is designed for the de-sludging of petroleum and chemical storage tanks by the control and circulation of high velocity liquid streams through directable nozzles fitted to a tank shell. NESL Fixed Tanksweeps are simple to install and are for use in new tanks or tanks that have been cleaned and are about to be put back into service. Alternatively, they can be used on tanks where the manway can be removed for cleaning and used to re-suspend accumulated solids, enabling the tank to be pumped down with maximum contents removal effected without man entry.
The ATC Mud Cannon is a wash, recovery and separation device in which liquid and solid portions of recovered waste are separated. The fluids are transferred through a filtration system into a wash fluid reservoir using jetting pumps.
NESL also provides equipment to deal with waste materials such as those at refinery sites. The NESL Lagooner vehicle can be lowered into a lagoon/pit, where it mixes and then pumps the slurry to a sludge treatment plant such as the NESL ST150 Sludge Treatment System.
Other services include bespoke systems, which can be engineered for specific client requirements. NESL has successfully provided solutions for complex and difficult treatment requirements over many years. It can also provide lobe and diesel pump solutions, hydraulic power packs, steam boilers and nitrogen generators.
