The MSS Group was founded in 2005 and is a specialist provider of environmental and facilities services. Its head office is located in Cardiff, UK, with further offices in Chester, Neath, Llandeilo and Carmarthenshire. The business has over 600 employees who operate primarily in highly regulated and frequently hazardous environments, providing industrial cleaning, waste management and site services, asbestos removal, water treatment, security services and more.

The business delivers a range of products and services with an emphasis on technical expertise, sector knowledge and hands-on experience. Its four divisions represent a strong interlinked proposition in markets where there is increasingly onerous regulation and where outsourcing is growing. MSS Group’s core strengths are in delivering products and services in hazardous locations, working with hazardous materials and improving the safety of the environment in which people live and work.

MSS Group possesses a diverse technical understanding of industrial service provision and has access to specialist fleet, plant and equipment used exclusively in industrial environments, including oil tankers, DISABs and sweepers. It is also specialised in delivering facilities services in critical, complex and hazardous environments, such as chemical, oil, pharmaceutical and other specialist manufacturing facilities.

One of the fastest growing and most innovative licensed asbestos consultancy and removal contractors in the UK for both public and private sector clients, MSS Group also provides water treatment and hygiene services (legionella control) to a wide range of blue-chip and private and public sector clients who have complex water systems and challenging multi-site water treatment regimes.

MSS Group is a specialist consultant waste broker and site services specialist, providing clients with physical solutions to deal with their business’s waste streams. It is also able to design, manufacture and supply cleaning, sanitisation and water treatment chemicals.

Additional services provided include retrofit offerings aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thermal insulation manufacturing and installation.
