The business is approved for welding and specialises in the fabrication of steelwork, tanks, vessels, pipework and machinery, regularly working with stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium.

Its services include engineering design and solutions, fabrication, machining, milling, turning and grinding and using computer-aided design (CAD), 2D drawing and 3S modelling. Homer Burgess works with clients to understand requirements and to solve problems, offering appropriate solutions.

Working from precise client drawings and in-house produced designs and drawing specifications, it is able to manufacture components and equipment and to offer installation and testing for complex structures including, but not limited to, structural steelwork, plant and equipment, pipework, tanks, walkways and platforms.

Homer Burgess is renowned for its repair and maintenance offering, providing a range of on-site and off-site services, including maintenance service programmes, fitting work around shutdown windows and quieter periods to minimise disruption to the client’s operations.
