Established in 1998 as a family business, Hi-Line is one of the UK’s leading tree surgery and tree management companies. Now part of the RSK Group, it employs over 200 staff, from apprentices to consultants, and operates from four locations: Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and London.

Offering a full range of professional tree surgery and arboriculture services in the utilities, local authority, domestic and commercial markets. Hi-Line takes pride in delivering professional, safe and cost-effective solutions in all areas of arboriculture, grounds maintenance and associated services.

With all employees trained and qualified to City & Guilds NPTC arboriculture standards, the company’s skilled arborists provide a range of professional tree services.

The company has held Arboricultural Association accreditation since 2012. Being an Arboricultural Association approved contractor is a mark of quality, assuring customers that their tree care will be undertaken safely, efficiently and in line with the British Standards of tree work.

Hi-Line’s experts provide a unique level of consultation across all areas of tree consultancy, with an understanding of the practical considerations required to manage trees, woodlands and sensitive wildlife habitat. Working closely with architects, construction companies, planners and especially local authorities, the team can provide advice on trees and development sites, planning and tree safety surveys and can produce arboricultural reports to suit client requirements.

Hi-Line provides consultancy services using up-to-date technology, in particular geographic information system (GIS) mapping, AutoCAD and multiple tree management software packages, including Pear Technology, Ezytreev and OTISS.
The company works for a wide range of clients, including National Grid, English Heritage, IKEA, Taylor Wimpey, Bloor Homes, Persimmon Homes, Torbay and Hillingdon Council and the National Trust.

The success of Hi-Line’s work can be seen through its 20-plus-years’ relationship with National Grid, during which the business has been helping to maintain the stability of the electricity supply to thousands of homes, commercial properties and essential services across vast areas of the south and south-west of England.
