The French business was formed in 2018 by the already well-established Brown & May Marine UK business, which has been part of the RSK Group since 2022, to help facilitate the increase in contracts won in the region. It now operates separately and independently from the UK business.
Brown & May Marine France provides studies and consultancy services relating to various interfaces that occur between commercial fishing and offshore renewable energy projects within the energy industry, both across Europe and in the rest of the world. The range of services it provides includes early fishing characterisation studies, commercial fisheries chapters of environmental impact assessments and the design, implementation and management of fisheries liaison processes.
The companyβs work is focused on developing solutions to minimise interactions and promote co-existence between commercial fishing and offshore developments and activities. It operates an integrated management system and is accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
