ARA Architecture

Working within the housing, leisure and commercial sectors, ARA Architecture provides end-to-end project services. Feasibility studies are carried out to determine the potential of a site and/or building for development objectively and rationally, considering environmental, operational, economic and financial factors. Pre-application services can be provided before a commitment is made to development projects. ARA Architecture has experience in dealing with stakeholders and planning officials.

A full design and planning service across numerous sectors, such as housing, leisure, commercial, industrial, conversion and conservation, is offered. ARA is able to offer drawing services from basic Building Regulations to full construction drawings and has experience encompassing traditional blockwork, timber, concrete and steel frame and other modern forms of construction.

Project management services include a full service from inception to completion: feasibility, sketch scheme, planning, Building Regulations, tender, on-site supervision and certification, including interim payment runs and final certificates. ARA is also experienced in inspecting and providing architectural certification, not only for its own projects and designs but also for other designers’ work, with the intention of providing a warranty certificate for construction that is relied on by mortgage lenders.

The business offers CGI and 3D visual services, presenting model and computer-generated design schemes that are prepared in-house, enabling clients to gain a greater understanding of a design concept and to enable planning officers to understand the principle of how a building or structure sits within its surroundings.

ARA Architecture has been involved in several large projects, including upgrades to major structures such as shopping and leisure centres, low-cost to luxury housing projects and cinemas and nightclubs.
