Since its inception, 3BM Studio has worked on more than 230 projects, developing particular expertise within educational environments, while also delivering schemes for local authorities, commercial organisations and residential clients.

The education sector represents a significant area of expertise for the business. 3BM Studio has delivered school improvement programmes for local authorities, acted as technical adviser on projects funded by the Department for Education and worked directly with colleges and universities on campus redevelopment and expansion schemes. The practice also collaborates closely with fellow RSK company Fusion Project Management to support funding applications, project delivery and wider estate strategies.

The practice has established a strong reputation in the SEND sector, delivering specialist educational environments that respond to the complex needs of pupils and staff. This includes Oxlow Bridge School, one of the first purpose-designed schools of its kind in England for autistic children and young people, providing specialist teaching, therapeutic and sensory facilities within a carefully considered and inclusive learning environment. The project reflects 3BM Studio’s expertise in creating innovative education buildings that support wellbeing, accessibility and long-term educational outcomes.

Other notable projects include expansion and refurbishment works at All Saints Catholic College, where 3BM Studio designed a new three-storey teaching block, upgraded learning spaces and associated campus improvements to increase student capacity. The practice has also contributed to numerous school, college and university developments that support modern teaching environments, estate optimisation and long-term educational growth.
