RSK Response is a dedicated contamination, spill response and remediation business, formed in 2017 utilising knowledge and expertise of RSK Groups 30 plus years of environmental technical excellence. With broad coverage across the UK and Ireland, we are well suited to provide support to a wide range of challenges, including emergency oil spill response, hazardous waste management and flood response.

As part of our emergency response service, which includes an experienced and dedicated incident response team on call 24/7, we conduct initial spill investigations and mitigation on site. After an initial investigation, depending on the site, type of contamination and scale of the spill, we manage containment and clean-up to safely remove contaminants. Our cost-effective and immediate response services stabilise, assess and remediate the effects of pollution incidents. Along with assessing waste implications of the contaminated material, we validate that all material has been successfully removed from the site and re-instate to a condition that we and the landowner are proud of. We manage in excess of 600 pollution incidents each year on various sites including farms, factories, fuel depots, processing plants, utilities sites and domestic properties. Additionally, we can clean-up a variety of contaminants such as kerosene, milk, slurry and anti-freeze.

RSK Response is suited to provide various waste management services, including hazardous waste management, waste collection, treatment and disposal. We can manage the removal of fly-tipped and hazardous waste, as well as provide skip, soil excavation and tanker hire services. RSK Response will attend site for the collection of used batteries, waste oil, waste electrical and electronic equipment, fluorescent tubes, bagged asbestos-containing materials etc. Waste will then be transported for disposal or treatment under current UK regulations.

RSK Response has experience in dealing with the consequences of flooding, from removing contaminated flood water to cleaning and sanitising the area after the water has receded.
