RSK welcomed Nicholas O’Dwyer to the group in March 2020. Founded in 1932 and originally a family business, the company has transitioned over the past 87 years into the largest independently owned engineering consultancy in Ireland. In this capacity it provides water, environmental, civil and structural engineering services to a wide range of public and private sector clients. The company has a strong presence in the UK and worldwide, particularly in Africa, where it has worked since the 1970s. The firm employs more than 200 staff based out of five offices in Dublin, Newry, Birmingham, Tanzania and Zambia.

Nicholas O’Dwyer brings additional expertise to RSK’s already strong engineering portfolio, particularly in the water sector. Major recent projects include the Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Scheme; supervising the integrated development of the Milange–Mocuba Corridor, Phase II, in Mozambique; the new Galway Regional and Divisional Garda Headquarters, Ireland; and the Kerry Central Regional Water Supply Scheme, a project that was voted the 2018 Engineering Project of the Year in Ireland.
