In 2022, ADAS launched ADAS Natural Solutions, a new service to deliver nature-based solutions through integrated approaches to sustainable and resilient development, to help transform and diversify businesses.

Natural solutions are actions to create, restore, protect and manage natural or modified ecosystems to tackle multiple societal challenges cost-effectively and adaptively. Objectives may include achieving carbon net zero or biodiversity net gain (BNG), meeting sustainability KPIs, engaging with employees or providing non-financial reporting. Businesses and stakeholders may also want to create a meaningful impact for present and future generations. Unlocking natureโ€™s potential may hold the key to this.

Our team includes specialists in environment, agriculture, habitat creation, climate change, emerging markets associated with natural capital (e.g., BNG, carbon offsets), planning, development, land acquisitions and management. ADAS Natural Solutions’ expert staff consists of data scientists, strategists, negotiators, managers and on-site practical advisers. We provide dedicated project managers that can guide projects from start to finish to make the process as efficient as possible.

It is this unique combination of interconnected expertise that can help deliver practical enhancements of ecosystems. These may include woodland creation for carbon and biodiversity gains, peatland restoration or better soil management for water quality benefits, to name but a few. As part of RSK, we can also bring in expertise in wider disciplines and services from around the world.
