Laser scanning tower blocks in Birmingham
Central Alliance worked closely with RSK Group geotechnical and engineering contractor CAN to undertake work on a number of tower blocks in Birmingham. Specifically, Central Alliance was required to laser scan the buildings and produce drawings that could be used on site during the proposed work. This saw the team mobilise its survey personnel and equipment, scanning the various tower blocks with the acquired data transferred to its head office for post-processing and elevation drafting.
