Date: 7 July 2020

We are surrounded by noise at home, work and in our leisure time, but too much noise can be a type of pollution that can affect the quality of life for humans and animals. Don’t miss our free webinar on 7 July, where RSK Acoustician James Mangan will give some sound advice on noise impact assessments and the steps needed to identify, manage and reduce the impact of noise in residential and industrial locations.

James Mangan, Associate Director, RSK Ireland

James is a member and Chair of the Irish branch of the Institute of Acoustics. James is responsible for the acoustics team in Ireland and, as part of RSK’s wider acoustics division, he specialises in all aspects of environmental noise and building acoustic assessments. James has extensive knowledge based on 20 years of experience in environmental noise impact assessments and has given evidence in several court cases involving nuisance noise under the Environmental Protection Agency Act.

Michael Kerr, Business Development Manager, RSK Ireland

Michael will be introducing the webinar. He is a Chartered Marketer with over 25 years’ experience in a variety of roles. Having spent 6 years overseas in the quarrying and recycling sectors in both the USA and Australia, he returned to Ireland to work in a variety of roles, including equipment sales in the waste industry; as a transport and training consultant; and as a contract manager in the biomass and renewable energy sector.
