Tom on tour: Presenting ‘Risks of Mine Gas to Housing’

RSK Geosciences Director Tom Henman will be presenting an Environment Analyst webinar, ‘Risks of Mine Gas to Housing: Recent Findings’, on 3 March. The session follows Tom’s recent Q&A session with Environment Analyst and presenting at their Brownfield Land Scotland conference on 5 February. Tom will also speak at Environment Analyst’s Brownfield Summit 2020 in London on 12 May involving three streams, covering ground gas, groundwater and data and analysis, which will run concurrently in the same venue.

Topic: Following the Gorebridge incident, the Scottish Government commissioned RSK to investigate the prevalence of carbon dioxide and other emissions from disused mineral mines and the consequences for residential buildings. In the free webinar, Tom, the author of the report, will discuss its key findings, including implications for the planning and development process.
