Specialist service providers EiB and Electrokinetic join the RSK group
September 16, 2021RSK group, the leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business, is delighted to announce that it has added two more UK businesses to its thriving portfolio, furthering its strategy to enhance its end-to-end service offering in the UK.
Electrokinetic and EiB are the latest companies to join forces with RSK in what has been an extremely active year for the group.
West-Yorkshire-based Electrokinetic provides innovative solutions for remediating unstable slopes and dewatering slurries and sludges based on patented electrokinetic geosynthetics (EKG) technology.
Working alongside RSKโsย Central Alliance business, Electrokinetic will continue delivering its innovative solutions to clients while exploring and developing new applications.
Meanwhile EiB, based in Birmingham, provides specialist strategic work-winning support to transformโฏclientsโโฏperformance and ensure they win and/or retain significant projects and service contracts across the public and private sectors.
Becoming part of the RSK group will enable EiB to grow and develop into new markets and explore new sales opportunities across the businesses within RSK.
Both businesses will continue to operate under their current branding and will adhere to their core values and ways of working.
Alan Ryder, RSK Chief Executive Officer, said, โFor the past few years, RSK has been working towards an ambitious 2025 strategy that aims to strengthen the companyโs position as a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business.
โBy remainingโฏcommitted toโฏourโฏvision and values, we areโฏcreating a value proposition unrivalled by any competitor. Despite the diversity across the business, the entire group shares a commitment to findingโฏenvironmental and socially sustainable ways to fix challenging problems.โ
He added, โIn the pastโฏfiveโฏyears, weโฏhave welcomedโฏoverโฏ50โฏnewโฏbusinessesโฏinto the groupโฏand have invested inโฏtheir growth.โฏEach of these businesses continues to operateโฏin much the same way as it did before joining RSK,โฏbut by connectingโฏthem with others from across the organisation, by encouraging collaboration andโฏproviding investment, we have seen consistent year-on-year organic growth.
โI am delighted that EiB and Electrokinetic have recognised the benefits of joining the group and that the owners have put their trust in us. Working together, I am confident that we can deliver even better value to our client base.โ
Scott Brown, Chief Executive Officer of EiB, added, โI am incredibly optimistic about what this acquisition will mean for the team at EiB. By joining the RSK group, we can accelerate the growth of the business, explore new markets and target larger contracts, all while staying committed to the โEiB wayโ of working.โ
John Lamont-Black, Managing Director of Electrokinetic, said, โIโm so pleased to be joining the team at RSK. We anticipate that our new home will open up new opportunities for us to contribute to a larger and more diverse range of projects, while also enabling us to draw upon the wider skills and competencies of the group to offer turnkey solutions in our more traditional areas.โ
