RSK Polska is pleased to welcome Dr Tomasz Galoch to its team in Warsaw, Poland. Tomasz is an environmental engineer specialising in environment, health and safety (EHS) risk management and he will take on the role of EHS Team Leader for Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. He has over 23 years’ experience in environmental research and development and consulting, and has particular expertise in environmental and health and safety auditing.
For more than 14 years, Tomasz co-led the mergers and acquisitions due diligence practice and led the EHS compliance practice in the Polish business division of an international EHS consultancy. He was a lead auditor and personally performed over 580 EHS audit visits. These were primarily for mergers and acquisitions due diligence, EHS compliance, environmental and social due diligence in line with EBRD/IFC Standards and environmental and social governance. He has experience of working with clients in a number of major sectors including automotive, electronics, packaging, food and drink, transport, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, chemical, heavy industrial, ceramics, waste management, logistics and power generation. His experience includes audits of 110 IPPC/IED facilities and 70 Seveso facilities, and he has participated in over 200 intrusive site investigations. He has worked extensively across Europe in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Belgium, Romania, Lithuania, Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey and Slovenia, and Egypt in Africa.

The recruitment of Dr Galoch is a significant first step in RSK Polska’s ambitions to diversify its team and expand its business through both acquisitions and organic growth.
