RSK Biocensus named Large Consultancy of the Year

July 06, 2022

RSK group company RSK Biocensus is delighted to have been named Large Consultancy of the Year at the 2022 Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) Awards.

The awards, which aim to celebrate the outstanding work of ecologists and environmental managers who work to protect and enhance the natural environment, are the highest honour an ecological consultancy can receive, and this accolade is superb recognition of the company’s hard work.

It is not the first time RSK Biocensus, which is the conglomeration of Carter Ecological, RSK Ecology and RSK’s 2019 acquisition Biocensus, has been recognised in the same category – the company was also highly commended in 2019 and was shortlisted last year.

Managing Director Tim Hounsome, Director Richard Carter and Operations Director Tom Smith from RSK Biocensus accepted their award at a glittering ceremony held at the Hilton in London’s Bankside area on June 22.

Tim said, “It was incredibly important to me that the three elements that have made RSK Biocensus what it is today were represented at the awards.”

And Tom added, “The accolade demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation, its investment in the career development of its staff and the strength of its relationships with clients.

Describing the award win as “hugely exciting”, he added: “I am so proud of everyone, as this is a team effort and it’s a real pleasure to work with such a fantastic team.

“We have grown over the last few years into such a supportive business that is a pleasure to work for and I was privileged to represent the team at the awards.

“This award has already sparked such a sense of pride within the business and it will empower us all to continue completing high level work,” he explained.
