RSK announces acquisition of leading UK façade expert, FR Consultants
June 16, 2022RSK Group Ltd is delighted to confirm it has added one of the UK’s leading façade risk consultancy firms to its prosperous portfolio.
Hampshire-based FR Consultants delivers a wide range of services that help make Britain’s buildings safer.
The company provides a full suite of building fire safety and compliance services, from surveying to remediation, nationwide.
With more than 100 years of experience, FR Consultants covers investigations and reporting, including everything from advice on construction, structural integrity, raw materials and combustibility risks to the building owner’s legal obligations.
The team also work with property managers, freeholders, housing associations, insurance companies and lessees, giving advice and solutions to all those requiring a signed EWS1 form.
Managing Director Dorian Lawrence, who will continue to lead the business when it becomes part of the RSK family, said: “We are excited for the future and the opportunities which lie in front of us working with RSK.
“The shareholders have been searching for a strategic partner for some time to support with its infrastructure and network to assist FRC on our continued growth journey.
“RSK values reflected our own and they shared our desire to make Britain’s Buildings safer. This made the decision for the team an easy one,” he said.
Meanwhile, RSK Chief Executive Alan Ryder welcomed FR Consultants to RSK and said he was thrilled to have them join the company.
“Their strength in end-to-end building fire safety solutions will be an asset to RSK, both in in the UK and beyond,” he added.
“We anticipate substantial opportunities for FR Consultants across Europe and the Middle East where RSK already have an established presence and client base.”
