RSK adds ATP to its expanding group

November 11, 2019

RSK, a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business, has today announced the acquisition of ATP. RSK’s seventh acquisition of the financial year, ATP is a multidisciplinary practice of professional consultants providing architectural, building surveying and project management services to the construction industry.

Alongside its core services, ATP offers the closely linked disciplines of landscape design, interior design, space planning, employers’ agent, and health and safety. ATP’s professionals have the right mix of talent, knowledge and experience that enables them to provide a high standard of integrated services to a diverse range of clients, including Sanctuary Housing Association, Barratt London and Hollybrook Homes. Recent projects include the Fryant Hospital in Harwich, Ministry of Justice immigration and rehabilitation centres, and container-living accommodation schemes in Barking and Dagenham. Based in Ilford, London, UK, ATP is a RIBA Chartered practice and a Regulated RICS practice. It is also accredited to ISO 9001, Constructionline and Acclaim, and is Exor Certified.

Established in 1966, ATP has long and established working relationships with its clients and, like RSK, prides itself on the repeat business this approach generates. ATP tailors its approach to suit its clients and their needs. ATP has successfully combined its personal service with efficiency and experience to continually deliver value and design to the highest quality.

“RSK already has a strong presence in the architecture and building surveying industries. ATP will only help bolster that provision, of which we are very proud,” said RSK Chief Executive Officer and founder Alan Ryder. “ATP’s focus on its people, both employees and clients alike, is something shared with RSK. With this shared ethos and complementary service offerings, we look forward to seeing what the future holds for both RSK and ATP as they unite.”

ATP will join RSK’s geosciences and engineering division under the direction of RSK Divisional Director George Tuckwell. ATP will continue to be led by current directors Keith Warwick, Daren Flight and Joel Walsh.

Keith Warwick said, “ATP is delighted to be joining RSK, which we are confident will be equally beneficial to both companies. Joining the group will increase our service provision, both geographically and in terms of breadth and depth.”

ATP is the latest acquisition under RSK’s funding package from Ares Capital Europe and a revolving credit facility provided by NatWest announced in December 2018. RSK is investing in the development of new businesses, bolt-on complementary businesses, equipment and capabilities to increase its services and expand internationally. RSK now employs more than 3600 staff in over 130 offices worldwide and has an annual turnover in excess of £250 million.
