Members of RSK’s junior business development forum donned gloves and seized litter pickers to help clean up the streets of Bristol UK, at their latest meeting.
The forum is a group of RSK young professionals who have come together to discuss new business development opportunities. They meet regularly at various UK locations, but this time wanted to give something back. As well as meeting to discuss the usual business matters, including what business development the department is currently doing, what they would like to focus on next and how to improve networking skills, the team gathered forces to pick up litter around the Bristol Harbour area.
“The litter picking was a great way to give something back to the community,” commented RSK environmental consultant Jasmine Bedford. “As a group of young people, the junior business development forum is planning for the future and this includes doing our bit to create a better environment for us all to live in. It also stretched our legs and cleared our heads ahead of addressing the issues on this month’s agenda and gave us the chance to socialise with the rest of the group”.
