On 18 September, RSK’s environment, planning and design (EPD) department, including the environmental impact assessment and environmental management, landscape, GIS and transport planning teams, gathered in Milton Keynes, UK, for its third annual team day event.
Managing Director Pete Whipp discussed the successes of the team over the past year and gathered feedback from the 70 attendees on future improvements. The rest of the day involved the teams taking on an escape room to test their cooperation and communication skills. One team even managed to escape with 18 minutes to spare!
Overall, the day was a great success and a good opportunity for everyone to socialise and network with colleagues from different offices across the UK.
Kim Olliver, Principal Environment Manager, said: “It was a great opportunity to come together for future planning, not to do with the creation of work or profit margins, but what we could do to make our own work experience better and more enjoyable. It was an incredibly positive day.”
Georgina King, Senior Environmental Manager, adds: “During the day’s events, it was echoed throughout the team how much of a great place RSK is to work. This is mainly due to the variety of projects and opportunities you can be involved in, the family feeling within the company and the connection to specialists in the business that are just one call away should you need any help or advice.”
