CR Civil Engineering finalist for the East Midlands Chamber’s Enterprising Women Awards 2021

RSK company CR Civil Engineering is shortlisted for an Enterprising Women Awards 2021 in the Social Commitment Award category. The award “is open to professionals who demonstrate an innovative and proactive approach to corporate social responsibility and responsible business practices”. To make it to the final, CR Civil Engineering had to demonstrate how it has tackled key social and environmental issues and positively affected the local community. Carl Roberts, CR Civil Engineering Managing Director, was thrilled at the shortlisting and paid tribute to the company’s ethics and employees, saying, “CR Civil Engineering has always tried to make a positive impact on its employees and local communities, including through charitable donations, fundraising, workplace contributions and career assistance, mentoring and promotion in local schools and communities. We have always tried to give something back. It is wonderful that the efforts of our team have been recognised by East Midlands Chamber’s Enterprising Women Awards 2021. We are flattered to be shortlisted.”

Enterprising Women helps businesswomen support each other by offering advice, education and organising networking and social events. CR Civil Engineering is one of four finalists in one of eight categories. The headline category, Businesswoman of the Year, is supported by group awards, including Small Business of the Year and Team of the Year. The shortlisted individuals and companies will all celebrate in person at the live awards ceremony on Friday, 8 October 2021, which is currently planned as a gala dinner in Nottingham.
