Central Alliance has taken an exciting delivery of two new specialist ground investigation rigs and a support unit.
The half-million pound-plus plant investment represents a significant commitment for the company, which has already expanded its fleet considerably to meet growing client demands.
The new specialist plant includes a tracked Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) rig and a multi-purpose slope climbing rig, together with a slope climbing support unit, and all are being put to good use immediately on a range of projects across the UK. The CPT rig not only increases Central Alliance’s range of ground investigation capabilities, but also that of the RSK group, where previously CPT services had to be subcontracted externally.
Speaking about the new plant, Thomas Burnett, Associate Director of Operations at Central Alliance said: “These new specialist rigs will be a tremendous boost to our fleet, allowing us to widen our capability and further our client-focussed approach by not only boosting capacity but allowing us much greater flexibility on-site, as well as reducing response times for clients.
“With Central Alliance seeing considerable growth across all its ground investigation services, the company will be welcoming further new fleet additions in the coming months to support its commitment to delivering a class-leading service to its growing client base.”
