RSK has completed its latest six-monthly audit from DNV GL to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 with no major nonconformities and just three minor nonconformities; its lowest ever number of recorded findings.
The audit was undertaken over a total of 12 days at multiple locations between January and April 2020.
Scores of 5 out of 5 were also achieved for both of the focus areas assessed. Top marks are rarely awarded for focus areas and are defined by the certification body as a “noteworthy achievement – vast improvements over previous performance realised and/or performance of processes approaching world class”. To score 5 out of 5 for both focus areas, therefore, is a truly significant achievement.
“This is an excellent audit result, particularly given the challenging circumstances presented by the COVID-19 pandemic,” comments RSK SHEQ Director Ross Chattaway. “The auditing was undertaken remotely and the time spent speaking with business unit employees was significantly reduced in order to minimise impact on fee-earning hours. An increased amount of time was also dedicated to auditing the systems and the SHEQ team.
“Thanks again to each of you who participated and helped to get us through this important audit, it has been appreciated,” Ross concluded.
