Abigail shortlisted for Northern Finance Director Awards

November 07, 2019

RSK Finance Director Abigail Draper has been shortlisted for the Northern Finance Awards for the second year running.

The Northern Finance Director Awards recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent of finance directors across the North of England. The awards embrace and celebrate all that is great about the talented bunch of people who are often the unsung heroes of any successful business. This year, 26 individuals are shortlisted who will go head-to-head across 13 categories.

Abigail, an experienced Chartered Accountant, joined RSK in 2011 and is responsible for the financial leadership of the group. Based in RSK’s head office in Helsby, UK, Abigail has been a finance director in the technical manufacturing, property, legal and retail consultancy sectors for more than 20 years.

“After a busy financial year for RSK, with six acquisitions to date, Abigail has had her work cut out to keep on top of the group’s finances,” commented Alan Ryder, RSK Chief Executive Officer. “Always up for a challenge, Abigail has met obstacles head-on and obviously impressed the judges at her panel interview in September.”

Abigail comments, “I am so pleased to be shortlisted for this award after another incredibly busy year for RSK. Recognition like this would not be possible without a great finance team behind me. It is fantastic what we can all achieve when we put our minds to it”.

The awards continue to be supported by founding sponsors Barclays, EY and Squire Patton Boggs, which are ambassadors for the recognition of the finance community and their essential role in the commercial success of the region.

The awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place on 20 November 2019 at Manchester Cathedral.
