A Total success

February 07, 2020

RSK Environnement in France is celebrating after a significant success at the annual Total Retail Security Convention. The convention, on 29 January, invited all Total service providers working on retail sites to join in discussions, exchanges and presentation of the health, safety and environmental improvements that Total will implement over the coming year. It concluded with the presentation of Total’s annual health and safety and innovation awards.

RSK was named ‘Best environmental provider for health and safety’

For the first year, RSK was nominated in two categories: ‘Best results for on-site safety’ and ‘Best environmental provider for health and safety’. It was the latter category in which RSK Environnement was the winner. This achievement was the result of numerous safety visits by Total representatives to the sites on which the team works, and for which they achieved 100% conformity with the Total guidelines, and the number and quality of its near-miss and positive-intervention reports and good practices.

Stéphane Malherbe, RSK Technical Director for France, said, “This demonstrates Total’s recognition of our involvement in health, safety and environmental issues and our consultancy work in general. I’d like to thank the RSK team for their efforts and personal involvement on-site, and unwavering work behind the scenes to make sure all the near-miss and positive-intervention and good practices from sites are duly uploaded on the Total platform.”

RSK France Managing Director Nigel Board commented, “Thank you to all who have shown such a commitment to the activities for Total, which is an increasingly important customer for us in France and across the group.”

“This award is the fruit of a lot of hard and constant work from the team,” added RSK France Programme Manager Esme Bouilliez. “I’m delighted that our efforts have been recognised in this way. It was an honour to accept this award on behalf of the RSK Environnement team.”
