Access our report here

To achieve a truly sustainable future all governments, businesses, and individuals must unite and recognise the interconnection of the planet and society. Through our own commitments aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the practices and solutions we offer our clients, RSK endeavours to embed sustainable development and resilience in all that we do.

Annually we report on our efforts to ensure that we keep pace with the transformational change the world needs to address the host of social, economic, and environmental challenges faced. Below are just a few of the highlights from our FY22 report which demonstrates our dedication to providing practical solutions to some of the greatest challenges societies have ever faced.

Supporting climate resilience

Our commitment to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate science and the goals of the Paris Agreement has been made stronger as we surpassed our target1 to achieve a 5% annual reduction, based on FY20 levels, in tonnes of CO2 e emissions per million pounds of turnover by the end of FY22.

Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)

Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are core to RSK’s company culture. This commitment is integral to the success of our business and supports our corporate responsibility and sustainability efforts.

During FY22 we introduced further employee networks to embed EDI throughout the business and empower our people to play a more active role in shaping our future strategy.

  • A welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for our LGBTQ+ community.

  • RSK with Unity logo

A network to celebrate the minority ethnic community and highlight the global solidarity and value that diversity brings.

  • Bringing women and their allies together to discuss issues relevant to them with a gender-positive focus.

  • Developing a culture of advocacy, inclusivity, and support for all neurodivergent employees.

Culture and Values

RSK has recognised and championed the importance of environmental and social impact since its inception over 30 years ago, with “promoting the concept of sustainability in all that we do” being one of our nine business principles.

Throughout FY22 RSK has made progress on and exceeded targets across all our business practices. A constant awareness of society’s needs and responsibility and quantifiable outcomes through our global commitment and action is evident in our FY22 corporate responsibility and sustainability report.
