Presenters

John Findlay, Managing Director, Carbon Zero Consulting

John is a Chartered Engineer with 40 years’ international project management and geosciences experience, ranging from oil exploration and water resource management to renewable energy design and installation. His mix of engineering, water resource and borehole expertise is well suited to the rapidly growing ground source heating and cooling (GSHC) sector. Since 2001, John has played a major role in the development of GSHC technology with input to many of the UK’s larger public and private sector schemes. He is a past chairman of the UK’s Ground Source Heat Pump Association and has provided technical advice to the Environment Agency, the British Geological Survey (BGS), the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and Ofgem.

Christophe Lavialle, Sales Director, RSK ADAS Food and Drink Sector

Christophe has been Sales Director, RSK ADAS Food and Drink Sector, since March 2021. His knowledge and experience of the food industry spans 30 years from farm to fork in North America and Europe. Having started within livestock and crop farm management, he then held various commercial roles in the fast moving consumer goods sector, including in bakery, fresh and frozen produce, dairy, pet-care and more recently, supplying insight on shoppers and retailers. Christophe’s expertise, along with that of the RSK ADAS team, lies in supporting the food industry’s transition to sustainable and regenerative practices to secure our food, increase the resilience of its supply chain and enhance the environment.
