We’re well connected

While there are thousands of colleagues within the RSK Group, we like to think of ourselves as entrepreneurial but not corporate. Our community of businesses is accessible, and we take a human approach to interacting with one another. Our shared values are what unite us. At RSK, you don’t have to choose between being part of a big or small business – you can reap the benefits of both.

We understand the value of wellbeing

We recognise the importance of wellbeing in our lives both outside and at work and have invested in developing and training a network of Mental Health First Aiders and People Champions across the RSK Group. At RSK, we have adopted five pillars of wellbeing that underpin our strategy, events and communications throughout the year.

An essential aspect of our overall wellbeing and as important as our physical health. We want to establish an inclusive environment where people can be themselves and feel comfortable to ask for support.

We all know how important physical wellbeing is in our day-to-day life. External factors can also impact our physical health, such as illness, and the behaviours and choices that we make, for example, diet and exercise.

We understand how much anxiety financial stress can cause, so at RSK, we provide you with key tools and skills that can support you when dealing with financial pressures and help you feel in control of your current and future financial situation.

Promoting a sustainable lifestyle extends beyond personal habits to include our workspaces. Environmental wellbeing involves creating greener sites, office spaces and home set-ups, with features such as natural light, ergonomic desks and regular breaks to boost both health and productivity. This balance supports both planetary and personal wellbeing.

A closely connected pillar to mental wellbeing, social wellbeing is essential in creating a sense of belonging, championing trust and building relationships with all our partners and colleagues.

We believe in always doing the right thing

And we recognise that for diversity and inclusion, this means we must go beyond the current statutory requirements.

To demonstrate our commitment to embracing these values, we created our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Pledge, in which we committed to develop our Diversity and Inclusion Working Group – with board-level representation – to help guide us on our equality, diversity and inclusion journey.

We are extremely proud of the achievements we’ve already made, including our continuing efforts to foster gender equity and inclusivity within RSK, but we acknowledge that wider education and development along with a structured programme of targeted initiatives are necessary to achieve and maintain our longer-term ambitions.

We listen to our employees

At RSK, we’re committed to listening to our employees. To support this, we provide tools for colleagues to create networks that empower our people to play an active role in shaping our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Our employee networks each have an executive sponsor to ensure their voices and ideas are represented at board level. These networks are formed around shared social identities, characteristics or life experiences, allowing members to work together for a common purpose. As part of your journey with RSK, you can join any of our networks or even start your own.
